(computing) Training

Information Technology training is scheduled
to start in January/February 2004. Courses will be
as follows:

Sewing
Classes for Women (no crèche )
|
This course is for women only and
takes place every Friday from 11.00 am to 1.00
pm. It covers various aspects of sewing and alteration.
It is informal and you can bring your own material
and ask the tutor for help. Machines are available
and the course is free. |
Open Learning
|
Access throughout the week to computers
and interactive learning in IT and English. Packages
currently available include Windows, Word Processing,
Database, PowerPoint, Front Page, spreadsheet,
Java programming, and many more. |
Learn
Direct Access Point
|
From February 2004, The Abu Bakr
Business Centre is planning to start a Learn Direct
Scheme. Further information will be communicated
at a later stage.
